Elizabeth Stanton, MD, MBA
Medical Director

Dr. Stanton is Board-certified in Adult Psychiatry, Child/Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Stanton has over twenty years of experience in treating addiction and psychiatric issues in children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Stanton holds a Medical Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed her Residency and Fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

Vicki Ittel, PhD, MBA
Clinic Director

Dr. Ittel holds both a PhD and MA in Neuropsychology from SUNY Stony Brook and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from New Hampshire College. Dr. Ittel specializes in all dimensions of addictions treatment. Dr. Ittel is trained in Motivational and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies and is a Certified Addictions Specialist and Licensed Psychologist.

Kevin comes to Mountain Health Solutions with experience in medicated assisted opioid treatment. Kevin also has experience in wilderness therapy and outpatient addiction treatment. He uses an eclectic style of treatment but focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy and existential therapy as his foundation. He is certified by the IC&RC and the state of North Carolina as an addiction counselor and certified in nonviolent crisis intervention. Other certifications he holds include Wilderness First Responder, Leave No Trace Trainer, and Level I Coastal Kayaking Instructor. When not at Mountain Health Solutions, Kevin enjoys rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, and back packing.

Wayne earned a B.A. degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of South Florida and an MBA degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. He has counseling experience in drug addictions, domestic violence and foster care. Wayne also has deep Corporate Human Resources experience gained during a 30+ year career where he served in a variety of senior HR positions with a number of large companies. In addition to serving as a Counselor, Wayne also is assisting Mountain Health Solutions with our corporate HR needs. Wayne recently relocated from Florida to Asheville and is excited to be assisting individuals achieve a positive drug-free lifestyle.
